For me, being ageless means being in love with life

Doing what you love is the cornerstone of having abundance in your life. — Wayne Dyer

I had a discussion at with a bartender I work with. I asked him this: at what point does one become old? Do you wake up one morning and all of a sudden like clockwork everything shifts? His answer was brilliant.

“When you think you are.”

That statement goes back to the law of attraction for me. You are your thoughts. I try to practice this but I am human and sometimes my thoughts stray. At the end of the day I catch them, reign them back in and try to stay on the course of positive thinking.

Anti-aging means you are in love with life. To me aging is just as much about your inner beauty as your physical shell. If you cultivate an open mind, and connect with others of all ages and walks in life you will find that you are young at heart. I have seem some very old twenty-somethings and some eternally youthful woman in their 70s.

A 96 year-old yoga teacher I admire,Tao Porchon-Lynch, said these two things:

I do not believe in age.

Tomorrow never comes. Don’t procrastinate.

To be ageless is to be in love with life,  fearless and relentless. Do what you love, and surround your self with people who light your fire. Live with passion for life and love and do not be stingy with your gifts. The universe will put you in a direct collision with those people you need to continue on your quest for illumination and greatness. Ever notice when you are with someone who gets you, well it feels like the sky opens up and the sun came down for a big passionate kiss? I live for those moments and encounters. It is a lot like being in love and I sometimes feel like I fall in love with everyone that touches my world. I am in love with life.

Dr. Wayne Dyer once said — and I am paraphrasing — if you take care of who you are inside, your shell will follow. You will find yourself eating well and exercising because you want to be healthy. That is where the mind body connection comes in for me. You must nurture both your mind and body as they are one.

We are all one, my weight loss success is not only a result of my hard work and perseverance but of the support I got from so many. I continue on now and I still evolving. It can be done, as long as you believe you can.

Much love and light to all, and remember when the sun comes down for a visit to give it a big passionate kiss.

It is Tuesday morning, and I tonight I work out with my trainer Mike. We have been working out since late July 2013 and I am really seeing results now. Yoga, walking, some running and workouts with Mike have made a big difference in my changes. My diet has been over hauled as well. I no longer diet for a few days and then undo all of my hard work going out to dinner. I am consistent, and I will not give in or up. My confidence is soaring.

I feel amazing and very youthful, and I am grateful my confidence has returned. My Poetry Book is finally in the works and I feel this is the right time and place to do it. It is amazing how confidence affects other arenas of your life.

So I am losing weight, returning to my former fit shape when I danced and giving back to others. I am getting so much more out of this than I anticipated. My life is changing for the better and I am so grateful for it all.

So, to quote the film The Sound Of Music and Julie Andrews singing

What will this day be like? I wonder.
What will my future be? I wonder.
It could be so exciting to be out in the world, to be free
My heart should be wildly rejoicing
Oh, what’s the matter with me?

I’ve always longed for adventure
To do the things I’ve never dared
And here I’m facing adventure
Then why am I so scared

A captain with seven children
What’s so fearsome about that?

Oh, I must stop these doubts, all these worries
If I don’t I just know I’ll turn back
I must dream of the things I am seeking
I am seeking the courage I lack

The courage to serve them with reliance
Face my mistakes without defiance
Show them I’m worthy
And while I show them
I’ll show me

So, let them bring on all their problems
I’ll do better than my best
I have confidence they’ll put me to the test
But I’ll make them see I have confidence in me

Somehow I will impress them
I will be firm but kind
And all those children (Heaven bless them!)
They will look up to me

And mind me with each step I am more certain
Everything will turn out fine
I have confidence the world can all be mine
They’ll have to agree I have confidence in me

I have confidence in sunshine
I have confidence in rain
I have confidence that spring will come again
Besides which you see I have confidence in me

Strength doesn’t lie in numbers
Strength doesn’t lie in wealth
Strength lies in nights of peaceful slumbers
When you wake up — Wake Up!

It tells me all I trust I lead my heart to
All I trust becomes my own
I have confidence in confidence alone
(Oh help!)

I have confidence in confidence alone
Besides which you see I have confidence in me!

Dean Martin – Good Mornin’ Life

Good Morning Life,
I had to share this old tune, it just makes me want to skip down the street and smile at all the people and pets that I pass by. Oh wait, I do this anyway, well without the skipping. Happiness is a choice, and I choose to live my life as a gift and I will sing along with Dean Martin. Good Morning Life.
Love and Light,
